I'm a Christian, wife, mom, mimi, manager, Certified Holistic Health Practitioner, homesteader at heart, and a firm believer that God created our bodies with the ability to heal when we live in alignment with His design.
I grew up on a farm in Shepherdsville, Kentucky, where life was simple, grounded, and connected to the land. But after graduating college, I traded that life for the “big city” and spent over 20 years working in the finance industry, finally relocating to Tampa, Florida. Like so many, my husband Scott and I found ourselves caught in the rat race—defined by busy schedules, constant stress, and a go-go-go lifestyle that eventually pulled us away from what truly mattered.
In 2018, we relocated to North Carolina and began building what we now call our "suburban homestead” on our one-acre property in the exurbs of Charlotte. But even then, the years of stress had already taken a toll.
We experienced it all—weight gain, reliance on processed and fast foods, and a growing list of health struggles: migraines, anxiety, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, prediabetes, skin conditions, autoimmune issues including fibromyalgia, and even a heart scare from a clogged artery.
Eventually, the stress became overwhelming. I had to step away from my career, and my health declined to the point where I was bedridden for over seven months. After countless doctor visits, tests, and appointments, I was told there was nothing more that could be done.
That moment changed everything.
I made the decision to figure this out—no matter what it took.
After months of deep research, prayer, and persistence, God led me to holistic health. Through intentional changes—returning to real food, slowing down, reconnecting with the rhythms of life He designed—I began to heal. Not overnight, but steadily. Meaningfully. Completely differently than anything I had tried before.
And as I learned, something became clear: this wasn’t just for me. God had given me understanding, clarity, and a passion to share it.
Today, I feel better than I have in years, and I’m honored to help others do the same. I share not only what works, but also the lessons learned from the moments that didn’t—because both are part of the journey.
Now, Scott and I are living out the vision we had when we first bought our home—embracing a slower, more intentional lifestyle rooted in faith, health, and simple homesteading practices… right here on our little “postage stamp” of land.
I’m so grateful you’re here. And if you’ve read this far, I’d truly love to connect—tell me your story.
Stay well, my friends.
